Custom AI vs chatbots

A chatbot answers. A system does the work.

CRYLAR builds custom AI systems that automate an operating process end to end. We do not sell chatbot wrappers, pilots that never leave a deck, or off-the-shelf tools with a logo swap.

What buyers usually get sold

A chat window, a prompt pack, or a short pilot. Useful for demos. Rarely enough to retire a chase list in finance, HR, sales, or inventory.

What a custom AI system is

Backends, models, rules, interfaces, and integrations shaped around one process — running in production with human checkpoints and ownership at handover.

When a chatbot is enough

If the job is answering questions from a knowledge base, a chatbot may fit. If the job is moving work through a process without manual chase, you need a system.

No pilots as the product

We diagnose fit first. If we take the work, the deliverable is a production system — not a temporary experiment packaged as transformation.

Choose clearly

Three questions before you buy AI.

  1. 01

    What process?

Name the loop that still depends on follow-up.

  2. 02

    What outcome?

The process runs without chase — not “we tried AI.”

  3. 03

    Who owns it?

Your team after handover, with documentation and controls.

Objections

Straight answers.

Is CRYLAR a chatbot company?

No. We build custom operational systems. Chat may appear as an interface when the process needs it — it is not the product.

Do you sell pilots?

No. We only take work we can finish as a production system with acceptance criteria.

How is this different from RPA?

RPA scripts UI clicks. We design the system around decisions, data, and handoffs — which may include models, agents, rules, and APIs.
